  TATAOUINE

Tataouine is an excellent base from which to visit the fascinating "ksours" (communal grain storage used by the nomadic Berbers). Each granary is made up of many ghorfas (rooms) resembling honeycombs with arched compartments. The mountain ksours perched aloft on the peaks are best seen in Cheneni, Douiret & Ksar Ouled Sultane.
