Thank you very much for booking in Tunisia. We were able to enjoy very significant stay. We also went to restaurant Dar Slah. That was very nice you said so!

Culture,history,nature,food,and people, your country is very wonderful. The Tunisian food will be introduced at our restaurant in July. I think that all Japanese people also enjoy it.

Now that we are home I wanted to let you know that our tour with Faysel was perfect. He went above and beyond to show us Tunis. He took us to several places we had not expected to see and we are very greatful. The American military cemetary was incredibly moving and we are so happy that we did not miss it. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing the inside of the synagogue. Faysel really went above and beyond so that we could go inside and we will always appreciate his efforts on our behalf. I will post a review on tripadvisor.com but I wanted you to know that, in our opinion, we could not have had a better guide or a better day in Tunis. Thanks you so much!.

Mrs Heidi Ryan is a guest living at Singapore who, following an introduction of one of our clients, has applied for the services of Batouta Voyages. Together with a group of her friends, they wanted to make a cultural trip in Tunisia. The trip was short but it has to be concise and enriching. Since they have chosen to make the tour without a guide, we were very careful about the choice of the driver.

The trip went wonderfully. From the time we were collected at the airport until our return to the airport on the last day everything went according to plan. Our guide Anis & our driver Abbas were helpful, considerate and knowledgeable. We had a lot of discussions about all aspects of the country, culture and expectations since the departure of Ben Ali.
The hotels were clean and comfortable. The people were generally friendly and as we did not know entirely what to expect we were very pleased with our experiences, especially the Roman sites, the camel ride and just wandering around soaking up the atmosphere….

January 2007 John: Spain

John wanted to discover the Sahara and asked Batouta Voyages to develop and run a 4-day bespoke Camel trekking adventure holiday for him. We took care of our guest from the moment he arrived in Tunisia to the minute he left back to his home in Spain.

Thank you for organising a truly wonderful journey. Everything was perfect and executed according to your plan. After a few years’ absence, I remember now why I love Tunisia so much - amazing scenery, towns and climate - but above all what makes the country so great is its people. So thanks to Saïd and Bashir - my desert guides- the team at Batouta and everyone in the hotels and the transportation that ensured that this was an unforgettable and perfect vacation. To my new friends; Momou, Abdul, Moneame, Moroud, Nabil and all the Tunisian people I met and who welcomed me with a hospitality rarely seen in other countries today. A special thanks to Fathi - from the first welcome at the airport to the magical journey back from Douz to Tunis yesterday - he is the perfect host and a wonderful companion and a great representative for both your company and Tunisia.
My only problem? Is that I am writing to you from Madrid and that I am not still in the Sahara.....

My friends Kelly & Lain recommended to contact you, this is the information he sent to us by email...a company based in Tunis, Batouta Voyages, they might be able to help you to get your visa’s and organize a driver/flights for you to get to Libya. We used these guys in Tunisia and they were fantastic, a well organized and professional company, if you ask for Lamjed he speaks English and nothing is a problem, just let him know you want to organize a land crossing to Libya.

Carolyn is from Geographic Expeditions (USA). She was following the footsteps of Ibn Batouta, the famous 14th Century traveller. Carolyn started her travel in Morocco; her journey took her through Algeria, before entering Tunisia. She continued her adventure across the border to Libya. Many thanks for EVERYTHING you did and for all the efforts to shunt me around the country. It was a great pleasure to meet with you again. I am sorry I did not bring you greater luck in the World Cup - I did watch the two games.... I have not looked at the wesbite but you are mentioned in the text for the Tunis post and I know David is working on getting the logo posted which will link to your website. I hope I can bring you a little more business or at the very least help in disseminating your name. Thank you also for setting up the meetings with Jamila and with Ezzedine in Gabes - they were both extremely knowledgeable on their subjects and willing to give of their time to asist me - again tremendous thanks to you. I arrived in Tripoli yesterday without incident and am now trying to decipher with the help of a historian here where exactly Ibn B went between Sirt and Alexandria - for a distance of about 200- km he has one paragraph..... I must say I am getting a wonderful history lesson as I go from country to country! Many thanks to you all and I hope you'll follow the journey with me,
