This dynamic ‘treasure hunting’ program draws on participants’ individual strengths, bolsters team spirit, group cohesion and encourages interaction with Tunis’s friendly local community.

Starting from La Kasbah square, Guests are divided into several smaller groups distinguished by Chéchias (Tunisian hats) of different colours.

Each group of participants finds their way through the winding streets and souks of the 13th century medina according to a slightly different itinerary. One member of Batouta’s team will join each group to act as a facilitator and keep them together, focused and motivated.

A map of Tunis’ medina is handed to each group showing the location of the first clue’s checkpoint. The groups will find their clues in different places (a house, a small carpet factory, etc.) discovering the wonders of the medina at the same time. Guests will soon realize that communicating with the friendly locals is as challenging and as much fun as finding their way through the winding streets themselves!

Once each group has found their treasure (a bag containing several puzzle parts), they move to the final point where they will try to put the big puzzle together.
